Hi Everyone,

I am currently programming on PSOC CY8C6137BZI-F54 . My majority work is for the analog DAC and current source. I tried making the schematic attached with this post. While building the code I receive the error mentioned below.

"Net "Net_261" is connected to analog mux "AMux_3" and analog mux "AMux_2", but it may connect to only one analog mux when it is an analog mux common connection."

Also I wanted to ask the analog multiplexer can also work as de-multiplexer? Please help me on this.

Hi,

There is  a restriction in sequencing the Amux components. So you cannot connect them in series. You can try to clone or buffer the common signal to avoid this problem as specified. To answer your second question, Amux can act as a de-multiplexer too.

Best Regards,
Vasanth

Hi,

Since I am not an Analog expert, I may be missing your point.

But only to connect analog routing, we could draw schematic like

001-schematic-1.JPG

But in my understanding, ADC can't measure current directly,

we may need to connect resistors of "known" value to each pins

so that we can calculate the current from the voltage.

And adding another idea sketch, ADC also could have multiple input.
