The datasheet for the CY14MB series of NVRAM lists the 'M' as standing for "metering". What does that mean? I'm trying to figure out the difference between this and another device that begins with "CY14B" without the 'M'. Thanks in advance for any help!

Hi,
The 'M' notation does not signify any difference. It was used for internal purpose in the MPN and will not have any relevance in your endeavor.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
