Hello,

When the CY7C65211A is configured as an SPI slave you are able to configure GPIO1/0 for an Rx and Tx LED. I noticed that the LEDs do not start to change state until after a certain amount of clock signals. My question is are these signals fixed where they turn on and off after a certain amount of clock periods?

Thank you,

Jake

Hello Jake,

The USB-Serial SPI Rx and Tx notifications are not in sync with the clock signal. They should only be used to notify/indicate that a transfer is ongoing.

LEDs are expected to be connected to the configured GPIOs.

GPIO 10 (pin 6) is already connected to a LED on CYUSBS234 DVK and can be used to notify the ongoing transfers.

Thanks,

Yatheesh
