Is the CYUSB306X compatible with USB 2.0 ?

Hello,

The datasheet of the CYUSB306X rarely mentions USB-2 compatibility.

1) Can you confirm it is also compatible with USB-2 and not only USB-3?

2) What would be the frame rate, aspect ratio, size on USB-2?

Hi Mehdi,

CX3 complies with the USB 3.0 v1.0 specification and is also backward compatible with USB 2.0.

The practical data throughput of USB 2.0 (High speed)  ~25-30MBps

So, H_active*V_Active*bytes/pixel*fps <= ~25MBps - 30MBps
