Hi,
I installed CY8CKIT-147 (kit only file) from here
https://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy8ckit-147-psoc-4100ps-prototyping-kit
but can't find corresponding PSoC device (PSoC 4100PS) in the list of available parts. The target controller should be CY8C4145LQI-PS433. I am using Creator 4.2. Any advice appreciated. Empty project space would be a bonus.

Hi BoTa_264741
As Moto-san suggested, please try to find new devices (Tools > Find new devices), preferably in a network without any firewall restrictions, as the update might be blocked.
I am also attaching an empty project with this response.
The device is available in PSoC Creator 4.2 as well.
Best regards,
Hari

Hi,
I would try
(1) Install kit setup from
https://www.cypress.com/documentation/development-kitsboards/cy8ckit-147-psoc-4100ps-prototyping-kit
(2) Install the newest PSoC Programmer
https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/psoc-programmer-archive
(3) From PSoC Creator
Menu Tools > Find New Devices
(4) Ask in the commuity
OOPS, you've done it! 😉
moto
P.S. Maybe, you need PSoC Creator v4.3 (which I doubt though)

Moto and Hari,
Thank you for guidance. I followed the above steps 1 to 3, but that didn't help originally. The device CY84145LQI-PS433 couldn't be found, and an empty project stub provided by Hari couldn't recognize the device.
However, after restarting Creator (4.2), the empty project stub could be open w/o issues, and the device PSoC 4100PS device appeared on the list.
I thank you both. I will mark Hari's answer for supplying the project stub, which helped me to go through the installation process.
