Hello

Is it possible to use SPI with CY8C24123A?(8pin)

If possible, which pin should be used for si/so/sclk connection?

Best Regards

Hello Hayato-san,

Your understanding is correct. The reason why we select pins from Port1 is that, we can have two pins from Port0 for analog functions. Analog functions can be routed through Port0 pins only in this device. If you do not use analog functions, any pin can be used for SPI.

Hello Hayato-san,

If you are using analog functions, kindly use P1[0], P1[1] and one pin from port 0. The SPI user module can be connected to any of the six GPIOs available in this device.

Hello Sampath-san

Thank you for your reply.

Does it mean that si/so/sclk can be connected to any 6 pins of GPIO?

In other words, SPI can be used without problems for 8PIN devices, and when using the analog function, select one from P1[0], P1[1], and port0 and use it.

Is this understanding correct?
