入力信号の最大許容オーバーシュートとアンダーシュートの仕様は、それぞれの対応する製品のデータシートの絶対最大定格のセクションに記載されています。

例えば、Cypress S29GL512Tのオーバーシュートとアンダーシュートの絶対最大定格は下記の通りです。

All pins other than RESET#	-0.5 V to (VIO + 0.5 V)
RESET#	-0.5 V to (VCC + 0.5 V)

入力信号が上記仕様の範囲内であれば、Cypress Flash Memoryは問題なく、動作します。

ただ、電圧遷移中に入力信号の電圧がこの仕様範囲を超える可能性があります。

つまり、オーバーシュートがVCC、またはVIO+0.5V、アンダーシュートが-0.5V未満になる場合があります。

Cypress Flash Memoryは±2V未満(VCC+2Vのオーバーシュートと-2Vのアンダーシュート) で、それが20nsの期間であれば、許容することができます。

しかし、これらの電圧レベル、もしくは期間のいずれかの仕様を超えると、デバイスがダメージを受ける可能性があります。
