Hello

[Q1]  About CY7C65642-28LTXCT pins, Is it necessary to solder all pins? (Without heat dissipation pad)
Especially, there are some not using pins(floating), By covering the pad with a resist and not opening the metal mask, it is possible to prevent a short circuit between terminals during component mounting.

[Q2] Does the performance of parts change depending on whether or not the open pins are soldered? (Without heat dissipation pad)
Example: Doesn't D+/D- use for 1 port, so does the performance change when the pins are floated?
(Open on the board even if solder is applied)

Best Regards

Hello Arai-san,

You could connect the unused or floating pins to a solder pad, please refer to-https://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/37696/general-rule-of-thumb-for-unused-ic-pins. You could also check the hardware files from our DVKs.

The performance shouldnt change if the unused pins are left floating. Please refer to the KBA for list of pins that can be left floating if unused.

Best Regards,
Sananya

As a result, are unused pins OK without soldering?
