Hello

The two DS ports of CYUSB3304 are connected to two USB2.0 camera devices, and the data transfer speed is 30MB/s.

The theoretical bandwidth of USB2.0 is 480Mbps. If this is used, what is the actual transmission bandwidth of the US and DS ports? Is there similar test data?

Best Regards,

Ferris

Hi Ferris,

Theortically the bandwith of Upstream port should be the sum of all downstream ports. However, you should consider that the USB protocol sometimes will allocate more bandwith than the actual bandwith used to ensure the integrity of data transfer.

You can refer to this KBA: Isochronous Bandwidth Allocation of USB HUB - KBA228110
