Hi everyone

Questions about Output using MBT.

1, Is it possible to measure the throughput of the destination module using MBTTool?

Sender and receiver use the same module

Do not use dedicated measuring instruments

2, Is it impossible to perform an output test as described in ManufacturingBluetoothTestTool

just by operating from the hostCPU without connecting to a PC?

I have asked the same question about RSSI.

Hello YoJa_3107936

MBT/WMBT tool is used only for RF tests. It is not developed for any other normal functionality tests.

If you want to test throughput of device, either you can develop a custom application using SDK. Or you can also use CyBluetool.

Please go through CyBluetool for test details. https://community.cypress.com/docs/DOC-16475

Regards,

Anjana

Hi Anjana,

Thank you for your advice.

https://community.cypress.com/message/221625?et=watches.email.thread#221625

With the above link,

> On the hello_client app, I added the following line (after line 1101) in the scan result callback function and

>I was able to read back the RSSI when the client connects to the sensor.

>WICED_BT_TRACE(" RSSI: %d \n", p_scan_result->rssi );

I would like to use the above method, so what function should I use?

Thanks,

Yang

Hi YoJa_3107936 ,

I am sorry , Can you please clarify the query ?

Do you want to test RSSI or throughput ? What is the end application requirement ?

Is this for an end application development or just for testing side prior to end application development? Please clarify

Thanks,

Anjana
