Hi HeGi_2497906,

Can you please confirm that you are referring to the PSoC Creator output window?

why can you not copy from the output window, normal Windows copy has no effect and there is no right mouse click options, why?

I was able to copy the message from the output window -

Log file for this session is located at: C:\Users\--------\AppData\Local\Temp\PSoC Creator-000.log

--------------- Build Started: 05/12/2020 11:48:41 Project: Watchdog_Timer02, Configuration: ARM GCC 5.4-2016-q2-update Debug ---------------

The code generation step is up to date.

The compile step is up to date, no work needs to be done.

The link step is up to date, no work needs to be done.

--------------- Build Succeeded: 05/12/2020 11:48:42 ---------------

There is no right-click option but you can copy by using the copy shortcut (Ctrl + C). Please let me know your observations.

why is there no option to download or output the data in this window?

You can find the log for each PSoC Creator session in the following file -

%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Temp\PSoC Creator-000.log

why is there no option for word wrap in this window, the strings get silly long

Yes, unfortunately there is no word-wrap feature but you can copy the log or use the log file.

Hope this helps,

HeGi,

As Rakshith indicated you can perform the standard Copy (Ctrl-C) from the output window.

Then you can go into WordPad to Paste (Ctrl-V) into it.

WordPad has a word wrap option.
