Hello,

I have a question about AN77960.

This document has already been obsoleted, but the libraries remain in SDK 1.3.4.

cyu3usbhost.h :

C: \ Program Files (x86) \ Cypress \ EZ-USB FX3 SDK \ 1.3 \ firmware \ u3p_firmware \ inc

Is it still possible to use FX3 as a Host Controller?

If yes, why is the application notes obsolete?

Hello Morimoto-san,

Yes, FX3 supports High-Speed USB Host Controller feature. cyfxusbhost example is helpful.

The reason why AN77960 is obsoleted is that this AN mainly refers to CYUSB3KIT-001 which is obsoleted development kit.

Best regards,
