Cypress has two HX2 parts that aren't clearly differentiated: CY7C65620 and CY7C65621.
What are the differences between these parts?
Datasheet headings show the word "Lite" added to the CY7C65621.
CY7C65620 = EZ-USB HX2LP™ Low-Power USB 2.0 Hub Controller Family
CY7C65621 = EZ-USB HX2LP Lite™ Low Power USB 2.0 Hub Controller Family

Hello Greg,
Both the parts are functionally the same and are the same die. The only difference is in the manufacturing process.

Sananya,
Thanks for the reply.
Please elaborate on the differences in the manufacturing process that would cause Cypress to create a separate part number and data sheet.

Hello Greg,
Currently we dont have the complete details on the process since they are older parts but initially HX2LP was launched and later renamed and launched as HX2LP Lite for a different market segment.
Best Regards,
Sananya
