The Poc 63 technical manual seems to indicate that it would be good practice to hang an external noise bypass capacitor on the Vref signal shown in the block diagram of the SAR.
I would like to use the TopDesign.cysch schematic editor to do this, but it is not clear how. The SAR block in the editor never makes the Vref bypass net available as an input signal to the SAR block that can then be connected to an input pin (even with the Vref bandpass check box checked). So how to do this? Do I just have to do this manually by placing an unassigned pin with the editor that will be used for the bypass capacitor, and then route that pin manually to Vref in the code?

Actually, you need to do nothing about the Vref bypass capacitor in TopDesign.cysch except for chenking the Vref bypass check box. Once it it checked, the component will get concerned stuff prepared automatically.
What you need to do is just connect the cap on your schematic on VREF pin of MCU device.
