Can CYW43340 get FCC approval for CH144?

Just wanted to double check: Does the CYW43340 fully support 5 GHz CH 144 (that channel was added to 5 GHz as part of FCC changes in 2014) -- and can get FCC approval (pass FCC tests)?

Do all versions (hardware/software) support CH144, or was support for CH144 added at some point in time?  If added later, anyone know what versions?

The CYW43340 supports 5 GHz channel 144 if the channel is enabled in the firmware.

--> Support to channel 144(any other channel also) is added if a customer requests cypress to enable it in the firmware released.
