Hi
The following question is from customers.
By attached image, Class2 GFSK Tx Power in "General"
the TYP value is 2dBm, could you tell us the min and max values?
note:
In the "Power Control Step", there is a description of Typ: 4dB,
I think that 6dBm Tx_power can be output even in Class2.
Is it correct?
Thanks
Yang

Tx power of Class 2 devices, by definition, cannot exceed 4dBm. Therefore the IC output 2dBm (to play safe) typically so as to satisfy the Class 2 requirement. If the end product is defined as Class 2, then I would say 2dBm is probably the max. The power control will reduce it
by 4dB at a time, to somewhere about -16dBm.

I'm sorry, correct the description mistake.

I think that max value of Tx_power is 4dBm in Class2.
In the "Power Control Step", there is a description of Typ is 4dBm.
If simply set it to Plus, it will be 6 dBm, which will exceed 4 dBm.
How do I understand the Power Control Step for Class2 GFSK Tx Power?
