Hello,
For thermal evaluation purpose within our design I need to check the operating junction temeprature vs the maximum junction temperature.
I know the power dissipated by the component but I did not found the thermal resistance (junction to case) for the S29PL032J60BAI120 or the maximum recommended operating junction temperature.
So could you give me the following data:
- Maximum recommended junction temperature
- Thermal resistances for the component:
- Rjc (junction-case),
- Rjb (junction-bottom),
- Rja (junction to ambiant) vs the airflow speed
With these data I should be able to evaluate the temperature and then the feasibility of the design.
Regards,
Nicolas

Hello,
Please see below
- Rjc (junction-case) - 9.8 ℃/W
- Rjb (junction-bottom) - 13.2 ℃/W
- Rja (junction to ambiant) - 27.5 ℃/W
Thank you and have a nice day

Hello
Thank you for contacting Cypress Community Forum. Can you please verify the MPN? I could not find "BA" as package type in the datasheet.
Have a wonderful day

I found this on cypress website.
Despite being obsolete, thess components are used on our design on which we have questions on thermal behaviour.
We are refining our thermal study to answer to these questions.
