Does UVC version FX3 support 16-bit Grayscale ( Y16 ) format?

I intend to interface a camera with 16-bit grayscale video over USB UVC using the FX3. As per AN75779, the chip  supports YUY2 where grayscale is only 8-bit. Can i use the FX3 to transfer 16-bit grayscale over UVC?

The FX3 UVC descriptors can be modified to steam Y16 format by changing the GUID in the VS format descriptors section of the descriptor file (cyfxuvcdscr.c), please refer to this thread for adding Y16 format: Re: i want to enumerate more than one GUID in SS mode,what should i do? dose this just like enumerat...
