hibernate reset

I am using Cypress Traveo ii , CYT4B, i want to reset my micro-controller without changing the GPIO States , So i am trying to  go to hibernate mode so the GPIO states are frozen and then trigger a wake-up .

I want to know what happens what systems wakes-up from hibernate mode ?? is it possible to retain the GPIO states after hibernate reset state.
