The individual channel's Input pin may be placed at difference pin, the Y refers to the specific pin, have a look at the "List of pin functions" part of the specific device datasheet.
Please note, PSoC4/6 device (instead of the FMx family MCU) are more recommended for new design.

So if I have an UART at pin SIN1/SOT1 it will be multifunction serial 1 ?
Does the X selects the channel in mfs ?
