I have a BLE dongle from U.S. Converters, the USBLE232C.

In order to upgrade the firmware, they list the steps required and I get to the step where I open the CySmart app and connect to the dongle and choose the bootloader service.  But there is no option for the bootloader, in the carousel part of the app it only shows Device Information, GATTDB, and Unknown Service.  I have the .cyacd file on the iPhone running the app and the dongle is set to firmware upgrade mode as per the instructions from the manufacturer.

Is there any way to get the bootloader option to appear?

Thank you.

Cypress Bootloader Profile in the CySmart app is a custom Cypress Bluetooth LE profile. Please use CY5677 CySmart BLE 4.2 USB Dongle for bootloader profile. You can find more details in CySmart home page.

You can also use CySmart iOS/Android mobile application as well.
