I am unable to communicate to CY8KIT-148 using the MagSense tuner. I am using example code CE222867 MagSense with Feedback LEDs and have the EZI2C component in my project. However, when I attempt to communicate to the device using MagSense, I can only select UART and not EZI2C. How can I fix this?

I was able to fix this by updating the firmware to kitprog3 by following this thread and downloading the Firmware-loader tool

Hi Ryan,
Download the CE222867 to KIT-148, then open the BCP(bridge control panel) tool. Could you list the slave address?
The I2C Bridge in Kit-148 is hardware connected.

Hello,
I have successfully programmed CE222867 and I can see the buttons and proximity sensor working as expected. However, when I open the Bridge Control Panel, I do not see KitProg2 listed under the connected ports. I am only able to communicate over UART and not EZI2C, which prevents me from using the MagSense tuner
