Hello, Philip,

The S25FL512SAGxx as well as the S70FL01GSAGxx (65nM MirrorBit) are active Ordering Part Numbers

(OPN’s) and are currently in production.

In regards to the S25FL256LAGxx (65nM Floating Gate), this is the highest memory density, currently available.

The 512Mb and 1Gb memory density are not currently, available.

Do you have a more specific Ordering Part Number (OPN) Suffix for the S25FL512SAGxx and S70FL01GSAGxx?

Best regards,

Albert

Hello Philip,

Thank you for your response...

In regards to the S25FL-L series, there are no current plans to design and manufacture memory densities above 256Mb.

Therefore Cypress's closest suggested scalable migration path from the S25FL256Lxx is to the Semper FLASH, to which

include the following Ordering Part Numbers (OPN's) :  S25HL512TFANHM01x (512Mb) or S25HL01GTFANHM01 (1Gb).

The S25HL512TFANHM01x (512Mb) and S25HL01GTFANHM01 (1Gb) support the AEC-Q100 Auto Temperature Grade-1

('M' = -40C to +125C)

To obtain the Semper FLASH datasheets, please register at the following URL detailed directly below :

In regards to the S25FL-S series, the  AEC-Q100 Auto Temperature Grade-1 ('M') is not offered as an option, but has memory

densities up to 1Gb dual-die (MCP) solution.  The closest suggested migration is also to the Semper S25HL512TFANHM01x

(512Mb) or S25HL01GTFANHM01 (1Gb).

Hi Albert,

We needed the S25FL256LAGNFM010 as it is the highest auto-grade temp rating parts supporting -40C to 125C.

The S25FL256SAGNFM000 is the closest part in the same pkg but its only 105C rated.

Other than the S25FL256LAGNFM010, there are no QSPI parts in production supporting -40C to 125C.

Does Cypress has any plans for S25FL-S in 512Mb and 1Gb in auto-grade, -40C to 125C support?

Why isn't there a higher density roadmap for S25FL-L series?

Rgds… Philip
