Please try uninstalling and reinstalling the FX2LP DVK setup files including the Keil u vision. On installation the firmware should build successfully.
Did you do any changes to the firmware or the properties of the project?

Are you referring to the hid_kb firmware from the SDK?
If so, then the firmware works properly. Can you please let me what is the issue?
Please find the attached screen shots from the device manager after loading the hid_kb firmware.
Please make sure that the FX2LP device appears in the device manager under keyboards (refer to the attached screen shots).

Please check if the file C51.EXE is present in the specified path "C:\Keil\C51\BIN".
Also can you please let me know if you are able to successfully build the other firmware examples like the Bulkloop and Bulksrc?
