[WICED-based EZ-BT Module] Certification of EN 62368-1 (2)

I would like to ask the following additional Community questions: [WICED-based EZ-BT Module] Certification of EN 62368-1

* I would like to use CYBT-343026-01.

CYBT-343026-01 is currently certified with "EN 60950-1", but not with "EN 62368-1".

"EN 60950-1" will expire on December 20, 2020.

Question 1.

Can CYBT-343026-01 be sold in the EU without "EN 62368-1" certification after December 20, 2020?

Or can CYBT-343026-01 continue to use "EN 60950-1" certification after December 20, 2020?

* For Bluetooth modules that are already "EN60950-1" certified, I would like to confirm that there is no need to update to EN 62368-1 after December 20, 2020.

Hello Kenji San,

Below is the response from Module team:

EN60950 will be obsolete Dec 20, 2012, but we don’t have plan to update EN60950 to EN62368:

• Safety isn’t necessary for module certification although we also provide safety test report for module
• Module test of EN60950 and EN62368 are almost the same, it is only a format change of the report
