Though CY2907 is obsolete, I a need 5Volt PLL for under a $1 so the CY2907FX8 seems perfect.
One (obscure) website shows old new 59392 pcs in stock $0.953 for 100 units.
It will use a crystal input of 14-17MHz range.
I need two settings:
4x pll then divided by 9
4x pll then divided by 7
Both with X1 crystal ref output as 2nd clock.
Can it do that and does cypress support programming of this part?

Hi Tony,
The CY2907FX8 is EOL device. The kit used to program the device CY3670 is also obsoleted by Cypress. So we will not be able to support the programming of this part.
I hope this answers your question.
Thanks,
Pradipta.

x4/7 is just the lowest common denominator.
cyberclocks was able to find a setting for 0 ppm
A few CY3672 II on ebay, but you need the CY3670?
You do not have a unit in-house to send it to be programmed (like 100-200)?

Hi Tony,
We checked with our team internally and we can program the parts for you with the required configuration. We do not have the parts with us so we will require you to ship us the samples to our Japan office. Let us know if this works for you.
Thanks,
Pradipta.
