Hello Everybody,
Does anybody know whether I2C FRAM FM24CL64B (and other I2C FRAM chips) support reading of Manufacturer ID and Device ID as it is described in
NXP UM10204 I2C-bus specification and user manual, Rev. 6 — 4 April 2014, Section 3.1.17, p.20 ?
Thanks to All,
Pavel

Hi Pavel,
FM24CL64B doesn't have feature of reading Manufacturer ID and Device ID. But the higher I2C F-RAM densities 128Kbit (FM24V01), 256Kbit (FM24V02), 512Kbit (FM24V05) and 1Mbit (FM24V10) does support the reading Manufacture ID and Device ID. Please refer to the F-RAM device datasheets on the Cypress website for more details.
Let me know if you need any other details.
Thanks,
Girija

Many thanks, Girija,
Perfect. It looks to be my omission. I looked into FM24CL64B initially and did not find anything applicable there.
I'm done.
