The situation stinks. The Release Docs simply exclude Windows 10 from supported OS's. No word from Cypress of working on the problem or sign of caring. We have to maintain legacy code, and therefore a legacy W7 machine as well. As far as I can tell, the problem boils down to W10 not supporting short (DOS) form file names any more.

PSoC Designer will not be updated to support Windows 10. Also, if any issues exist with Windows 10, it will not be fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

For a couple of years Cypress tells to switch from PSoC1 designs to PSoC4. The roadmap shows absolutely no activities for PSoC1. So why not stop developing for PSoC1 and frezze the porjects, the hex files to program thee chips can be used with any OS.
