I understand in USB 3.x, hubs are required to service packets using a priority order: 1) Transaction Packet; 2) Data Packet for interrupt or Isochronous modes; 3) Data Packets for Bulk and Control modes.

Does Cypress conform to the above?

Has Cypress published any metrics with how well it performs the prioritization especially compared to any competitive solutions?

Hello Greg,

The hubs conforms to the order as per USB 3.0 Spec and services packets as sent by the host. We dont have any metrics regarding the prioritization since it is a fixed function part but we can check for any particular metrics that we have measured as part of our compliance tests.

Best Regards,

Sananya
