mesh app software license

In the copyright note in the source code for the android mesh app I read that source code usage is granted "solely for use in connection with Cypress's  integrated circuit products". Does that mean that commissioning of non Cypress devices with the Cypress Mesh App is not allowed?

This means that you cannot leverage our source code for development of anything other than Cypress silicon.

BT Mesh is an open standard, so interoperability and connecting to our competitors products is expected.
