We are working on a small power controller and hub product which incorporates a CYPD3171. The goal is to provide power delivery to a USB-C tablet while at the same time, telling the tablet to be the data host. At present, we have the power delivery portion working, and can see that negotiation happening with our USB-C analyzer. But, we cannot figure out how to convince the tablet to be the data host while charging. When the tablet is being charged, it does not connect to peripherals on USB. However, when the tablet is set to be the power source, it can connect to the peripherals. We are successfully building and programming custom firmware and not relying entirely on the EZ-PD Configuration Utility. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
