Hi Cypress

Can you tell us what's difference about RX sensitivity with idle transmitter and RX sensitivity with dirty transmitter  in CY8C4248LQI-BL553  datasheet (page 33) , which one is performance reference for design  , Thank !!

Hello,

The RX Sensitivity with dirty transmitter test verifies that the receiver sensitivity is within limits for non-ideal signals at normal operating conditions. The non-ideal signals used in this test are within the specification limits but deviate from the ideal case. Please refer to the section "4.5.1 RF-PHY/RCV/BV-01-C" in the attached Bluetooth test suite RF-PHY datasheet for more information. Whereas, the RX Sensitivity with idle transmitter test is performed without any parameter variations like Frequency drift, Frequency deviation etc. of a signal.

Thanks,

P Yugandhar.

Hello,

The Bluetooth qualification test for sensitivity is done with dirty transmitter on. For range calculations purpose, please consider the dirty transmitter spec.

Thanks,

P Yugandhar.
