Hello

Please tell me about USB UART Driver.

I am using Windows 7 32bit.

Install "Microsoft Certified USB UART Driver"

I tried connecting the PSoC module and trying to update the driver from the device manager,an error is displayed, "Driver not found."

Is Windows 7 32 bits not supported?

There was no problem in running on Windows 7 64bit.

Tanaka-san,

According to this KBA, it can support both Windows 7: 32- and 64-bit versions.

Operating Systems Supported by USB-Serial Controllers - KBA85910

Which kit are uusing? May try installing its driver manually.

Ryan-san,

Thank you for your reply.

A self-made module using the device of CY8C5888LT-LP097 is used.

It is strange because it is displayed in the device manager in the 64-bit version.

Tanaka-san,

I don't have a 32-bit system...may not try it at my side.

Have you tried installing the driver manually?

Ryan-san,

Yes,I tried installing the manually.

Use a supported version as this is not a critical issue.

Thank you for the response.

Tanaka-san,

For PSoC 5 LP USB UART application, the code example called "USBFS_UART" in PSoC Creator may help to understand how to configure the driver better.

Best Regards,

Ryan
