How do I update Creator and Programmer on a computer that is off the internet?

I have a computer that is off our internet because we are running software that has not been risk validated. I cannot find a process to update the PSoC Creator and Programmer software on it. I am still relying on the distribution software on the CD that came with the kit.

Hi kusa_4457291,

You can download the setup file for the latest version of PSoC Programmer on a different computer and run it on the current machine by transferring the file. The installer will detect the previous version of PSoC Programmer and will give you an option to update PSoC Programmer.

As for PSoC Creator you can follow the same procedure. But do keep in mind that the code examples in latest versions of PSoC Creator should be downloaded and will not be available during the time of the installation. The latest version of PSoC Creator which has all code examples with the installer is PSoC Creator 3.3.

Cypress releases minor updates for newer components as well as support for new devices from time to time which wont be available without internet access.
