I have an existing PSoC5 project, requires a Bluetooth (probably BLE) connectivity. The data rate is not too high, 115200bps is fine. I am searching for a module which can communicate via UART or SPI. What is the best option, WiCED or Creater? Also I don't understand the difference between WICED Studio and Smart versions.

My apologies as I provided a link to the parametric search for what I believed were all PSoC 4 BLE devices
Our PSoC 4 BLE Certified modules are listed here: https://www.cypress.com/search/psg/37896#/?_facetShow=fs_pno_of_gpios,fs_pmin_operating_voltage_v_,f...

To be honest, for simplicity and time to market, I would pursue any of our PSoC 4 BLE modules: https://www.cypress.com/search/psg/1209#/?_facetShow=ss_pdedicated_adc_max_resolution_sample_rate_,f...
That support our EZ-Serial high level UART based application (all of them support): https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/ez-serial-ez-ble-module-firmware-platform
We even provide a set of iOS and Android apps you can leverage: https://www.cypress.com/products/psoc-4-ble-bluetooth-smart
WICED Smart only supports the CYW20732/6/7
WICED Studio Supports the CYW20706, CYW20735 and CYW20719
ModusToolbox->BT_SDK supports the CYW207819
All of these options will have a higher barrier to entry compared to EZ-Serial.

Thanks but I am looking for a module, and the above is a list of ICs, e.g. CY8C4127LQI-BL473.

Thank you for a quick reply. I came across that table, but there is no option to know whether Creator or WICED, and I don't think it really matter. I finally chose CYBLE-013025-00 device,which WICED based.
I am reading EZ-Serial BLE Firmware Platform User Guide ((https://www.cypress.com/file/285326/download) s to make a serial like bridge to a PC from the PSoC5.

Hi,
As per the following table,
https://www.cypress.com/products/ble-bluetooth (expand the WICED-based EZ-BLE and EZ-BT Modules),the module CYBLE-013025-00 has EZ serial support. Also the datasheet (https://www.cypress.com/file/374396/download ) title shows as "EZ-BLE™ WICED Module".
