Hello all,
I would like to know if it's legally possible to create a repository like the following one:
GitHub - Noltari/cypress-firmware
(Possibly moved to github.com/openwrt)
The idea is to use those firmware files as packages for the Raspberry Pi:
Best regards,
Álvaro.

Since I'm not sure that what I proposed on my previous post is legal or not, I've come with another solution which should be completely legal, since I'm using the download link provided by cypress (Cypress Linux WiFi Driver Release (FMAC) [2019-05-08]) to extract it and embed it in OpenWrt, instead of adding the binaries to a github repo:
[RFC] Add Cypress NVRAM repo & package by Noltari · Pull Request #2380 · openwrt/openwrt · GitHub
It would be pretty useful if someone from Cypress could state if any of these alternatives are legal or not.
Best regards,
Álvaro.
