Hi All,

I am interested in using the DSI or DSI and UDB to route IO pins to different internal peripherals such as a different SCB then the HSIOM allows direct access to. Is this possible?

The PSOC6 datasheets talks about having a Digital System Interconnect fabric and the block diagram suggests it attaches to the SCBs.

However, the architecture datasheet has no further information. except for being able to tell the HSIOM to connect the GPIO pin to the DSI network.

Thanks for the help,

Dave

Hi Dave,

Sorry for the confusion you cannot route SCB blocks to any random gpio in PSOC6.

PSOC6 does support DSI only for few peripherals.Ex TCPWM.

The internal architecture of DSI is not exposed in the  TRM for PSOC6.

Anyway you need not have to know the internal structure of DSI PSOC creator will do that for you.

We hope our information is clear kindly come back if you have any queries.

Hi Alakananda,

Thanks for taking the time to reply. Would you be able to point me to documentation on implementing the DSI?

In another post it was suggested the UDBs and therefore I assume the DSI are the same in the PSOC6 as the PSOC5LP. The PSOC5LP has actually has a description of the DSI in its archetecture manual but no guide on implementing its use.

Thanks again for your time and help,
