Hi,
for PCB routing reasons, we would like to change the output order connection of mipi lanes of sensor into cx3.
ie for a 4 mipi-lanes, something like that :
sensor CX3
1 -> 4
2 -> 3
3 -> 2
4 -> 1
Clock-> Clock
of course clock would be kept. Is this possible ? Of course if it is we would have to decode the bytes on pc side.
Thank you for your help,
Best Regards,

Understood.
Note that we have not tested this type of connections.
As per the Spec. each lane has its own SoT(Start of Transmission) and EoT (End of Transmission). Hence, each lane works independently.

What is the reason for changing the order?
Yes, you can change the order of CSI data lanes.
I don’t recommend to go with this.
Yes, if you do this, you need to customize it in the host application.

reason is for pcb routing process, it would be easier to do like this.
i agree that this will add some decoding part on PC side to retrieve correct byte order.
Best Regards.
