FX3 driver for WinXP 32 bit

Hello,

I downloaded drivers for FX3 from

Drivers for EZ-USB® FX1™ , FX2LP™ , and FX3™ - KBA94413

Also i did try to install FX3SDKSetup_1.3.4.exe to find correct driver.

In both cases i have problems with installation driver for winXP 32 bit.

In ...Cypress\EZ-USB FX3 SDK\1.3\driver\bin\wxp\x86 there are set of files including WdfCoInstaller01009.dll. BUT...cyusb3.inf inside required WdfCoInstaller01011.dll

So in result installation false. Even i would change file name WdfCoInstaller01011.dll on 009, result of installation the same - error.

Could someone tell:

1. Is there drivers for FX3 and Windows XP which is installed and WORKED correctly?

2. Why drivers in archive require win usb 1.11 but have version 1.9 in installation folder?

We will look into the WDF co-installer version for wxp in the driver package.

Please replace "WdfCoinstaller01009.dll" in Cypress\EZ-USB FX3 SDK\1.3\driver\bin\wxp\x86  with WdfCoinstaller01011.dll from Cypress\EZ-USB FX3 SDK\1.3\driver\bin\win7\x86 and try installing the driver.

Hi. This was what i did first. Not to disturb forum, but solve problem by

your self.

Driver in result completed installation, but with error. So FX3 device is

not accesible.

That is why i asked for support.

Sorry...it is in Russian but i think generally it is ok to understand that driver could not run correctly.

I do not understand the following line:

Driver Version: 1.11 Kmdf Lib. Version: 1.9.

Does it mean that i have older usb library than driver required?

Hello,

We are looking into the issue on the WDF co-installer version miss-match in the inf file. We will update this soon.

For wxp driver installation please download and install USBSerialSDKSetup.exe from this link

and use the driver present in " C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\USB-Serial SDK\Cypress USB-Serial Driver\DriverBinary\Vendor_Driver\bin\wxp\<architecture> "

Thank you for link,,,,,but after installation of that binary and connection of FX3 device during reboot i'm getting regular BSOD.

And driver tells the same - driver installation complete incorrectly.

Hello,

Please bind the FX3 device to the driver .inf file(path mentioned in the previous response) manually  from the device manager and check if you are facing the same problem.

Hello.

i removed all .inf files from windows/inf/oem*.inf and reinstalled driver again. After that driver installed correctly, FX3 chip is working.
