Hi, I tried to use this with Creator 4.2, errors thats its missing components, component update
did not cure.
Missing components (which are in 4.0) are
Dependencies were set correctly.
Seems a shame this is not kept up to date, very useful component.
https://www.cypress.com/validated-components
As stated on that web page validated components.

Looks like I have been out to lunch mentally Bob.
I started from scratch with web archive, and got it to build. I think what I was
doing was using the project file rather than lib proj file as the dependency
settings.
Sorry for wasting your time. Maybe I should go back to learning 4 function calculator
and stop pretending I know anything about embedded.....
Regards, Dana.

There is a library folder. Open the project first, update the components and build. Then go back to the example folder and update here.
If still problems let me know.

Bob, if I go here and open this the "update components" is greyed out,
cannot perform the operation.
If I use it in a project, and update components, nothing is found to update.

Not quite sure what the cause and what the issue is. I just downloaded the component from the link you supplied in your first post and expanded the .zip archive. When opening the folder there are two sub-folders: Library and Example. In both of them I am able to open the project and update the components. No idea why that doesn't work at your site. I try to attach a new archive.

Something really crazy going on. I extract file to desktop, open the proj file
in first top folder, get this -
But then closer that window and it brings me to this -
Then I try to do update and get this -
and it says I have no components selected for update. Note "No versions available" for your component lower right.
I redid the dependency to see if that was corrupted, results same.
Regards, Dana.

I just realized when I tried to add a dependency it error-ed saying I cannot add one to itself.
So ignore my last portion of last post.

By the way, your archive on website, not the one above, shows multiple folders
and 2 proj files one in lib folder, one in example folder.
Either one I cannot update dependencies. As well as the archive you posted in this thread.

There must be under Project -> Dependencies an entry for user dependencies that refers to the library for the keypad component. This probably does not match your implementation, but mine.
