Hi,
Since CY7C68001-56PVCT obsolete , we would like to migrate our existing design to USB3 (CYUSB3014-BZXI) .
1) Does this new chip CYUSB3014-BZXI does the functionality same as CY7C68001-56PVCT ? or any alternative chipset solution?
2) Design guidelines for CYUSB3014-BZXI?
3) Firmware changes needed
4) Compatible to Windows 64 Bit OS?
Regards
Kumar

Hello Kumar,
- CYUSB3014 has got variety of additional functionalities apart from those provided by CY7C68001. Please let me know your application.
- Please refer to AN70707 for design guidelines using FX3 (CYUSB3014).
- Firmware development for CY7C68001 and CYUSB3014 are completely different as they use different processors and different IDE.
- CYUSB3014 has got driver support for Windows 64 bit OS.
Best regards,

Thanks ,To start with , we would like to develop on demo board. Could you suggest "development kit"?
Our design application is USB2(CY7C68001) has a interface with 8051 micro-controller and intern communicates FPGA for data transfer.
Could you share your mail ID to review our design , I will check with our team on NDA with Cypress.
