Hello Ryuuji san,

The equation was taken from the PSoC 6 Scan adc component datasheet for its easiness to understand. For 4100s device (check architecture TRM,SAR ADC resolution section ),

Total acquisition and conversion time (sar_clk) = acquisition time + resolution (bit) + 2 ( in PSoC6, 3 additional cycles)

The previous image is the different representation of same equation.

Hello Ryuuji san,

If you want to know the maximum sample rate achievable , it is 1MHz. The total conversion time is a function of ADCn clock rate, resolution, number of channels and averaging and the acquisition time. The ADC clock rate will can be lowered to for a reduced data rate. The scan rate can be also calculated the following way.pastedImage_0.png
