I am designing new board with psoc 5lp device. I only have one supply voltage of 3.3V in  a separate plane and also one gnd plane.

the design is only digital with uart ,i2c and 1-wire communications.

Can I connect all the voltage ports like VCCA, VDDA, VCCD,VDDD, VDDIOs directly to the 3.3V plane (with the required capacitors to GND plane)

and all the gnd ports like VSSA,VSSB,VSSD  directly to the GND plane?

Hi Dor, Yes. VSSA,VSSB,VSSD can be connected directly to the gnd plane.

Thanks,

Ryan

Hi Dor,

VDDA, VDDD, VDDIOs can be connected together with 3.3V plain except VCCA and VCCD.  VCCA and VCCD pin must not exceed the allowable range of 1.71 V to 1.89 V. For more details, refer:

Thanks,

Ryan

Thanks Ryan,

I really missed the VCCD port that shouldn't be connected to 3.3V. About VCCA, I actually didn't connect it to 3.3V.

What about the  VSSA,VSSB,VSSD, could they be connected directly to the gnd plane?

Thanks,

Dor
