I always successfully used the S25FL064P in our design with Xilinx Spartan 6. Now the S25FL064P is obsolete and use the S25FL064L for the first time. Until now not successfully. I will list the log dump below. Bypass the ID check in iMPACT with XIL_IMPACT_SKIPIDCODECHECK is done. FLASH selection:

Takahiro,
Thanks to the help by Xilinx, the problem is solved. The solution is to switch off the verify option when starting flash programming.

Hello,
The image you attached is too small to see your settings. Could you send larger one?
When I tested the FL064L with the Spartan 6, I selected S25FL064P, data Width 4.
And I got log like this.
Thanks,
Takahiro

Dear Takahiro,
We use bitstream encryption in our product. Then the choices are limited to data width x1, so we use data width 1 (see attached picture).

Hi Daan,
Thanks for the screen capture. I see your Flash selection is the "AT45DB321B" which is not compatible with FL064L. I guess you selected FL064P when you got the iMPACT message in your first post.
Question:
In your first post, the iMPACT outputs:
'1': Reading device contents...
Failed at address, 1293056
Is the failure address always same if you try to program multiple times?
Thanks,
Takahiro

Takahiro,
You are right. Of course I selected FL064P. I have attached images of three impact runs, you can see there the (different) failure addresses.
