Hello,
I want a usb peripheral controller for control printer. Can i use EZ USB SX2 or EZ USB FX2LP part for the same? What is the difference between them?is both have selectable 8 or 16 bit data signals.

Hello Monisha
EZ USB FX2LP is recommended for controlling printer. SX2 has a fixed firmware and can only function as a slave device whereas FX2LP firmware can be re-configured to function as slave or master.
Both the devices has select-able 8 or 16 bit data signals.
Please refer to the KBA article for more differences on the two device controllers.
