Hi ,

CCG3 have 20V regulator inside for VBUS to internal 3.3V (Refer below).

You could use 5V or 3.3V to power on VSYS. Since you could enable/disable this regulator with firmware. To best practice, you use 3.3V or 5V on VSYS if the CCG3 can be powered by VSYS or VBUS case. you use 3.3V  on VSYS if the CCG3 can be powered by VSYS only case.

Best Regards,

Lisa

Hi lisa:I saw  the description:‘’When CCG3 is
powered from VSYS that is greater than 3.3 V, the dedicated
USB regulator allows USB operation”. Does that mean, if I set Vsys to 3.3V, that I Can't use usb firmware upgrade
?

Hi ,

No. If you set Vsys to 3.3V, USB firmware upgrade it can work normally.
