I would like to offer a customer the means to update a PSoC 4200L based product in the field, without having to install PSoC Creator on his computer. It seems an obvious thing for Cypress to provide, yet I see no means of doing so.
Any suggestions on this, especially advice from Cypress itself?

Bootloader Host tool is installed part of PSoC Creator installation. There is no standalone installer for Bootloader Host tool.
Which communication component are you using?
- Visual Studio project for USB Bootloader Host is provided here.
- If you are using UART bootloader, you can refer to UART bootloader host project in VC++
