Hello,

Here is the link of CY91520 Chip Errata:

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/errata/chip-errata-cy91520-series-32-bit-fr81s-microcontroller

To analysis the issue, still I would like to suggest you use our Flash MCU Programmer to check if you have the erase issue in our tool?

And how many boards with the new MB91F526LSB devices do you have? If all of them have the same erase issue?

For further analysis, please kindly get in touch with Cypress local sales team or distributors to get local help.

Best regards,

Amy Wang

Hello,

1. Which tool did you used to do Flash erase operation? Is it Cypress Flash MCU Programmer for FR? If not, could you please use this serial tool to try erase operation via UART and let us know the errors if any?

https://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/flash-mcu-programmer-1

2. How many devices of that revision did you have the erase failure?

Best regards,

Amy Wang

Hi Amy Wang,

we have written software which runs on this MCU to erase and program some region of memory like 0x8000 to 0x17FFFF. we are able to erase 0x8000 - 0x16FFFF but from there unable to erase.

one debug point is, not seeing this issue with old MCU chips and seeing this problem on latest MCU's(MB91F526LSB 1828 801 manufacture date chips).

can you please provide errata info on latest release chips.

Thanks,
