Hello,

According to the datasheet, there are three ranges(Low, Middle, High) and two modes(1X, 2X) in IDAC settings of PSoC.

How can I change 1X and 2X modes?

I looked for the link below, but I could not find it.

About setting IDAC gain with GUI

Best Regards,

Hello

You can obtain 2x mode for the IDAC component by navigating to Analog->DAC in component catalog.

You can select one option from the radio buttons available.

Please let us know if this was the requirement for your design.

If it is required in the CapSense component, please let us know the application for which the IDAC 2x range would be required.

Thanks and regards

Hari

Hi

PSoC 4100S device uses new CapSense component that supports three ranges for Idac Gain. You can find the option in the expression view  under CSD Settings ->Csd0IdacGainV2.

This can be changed to Low(37.5 nA/bit), Medium(300 nA/bit), or High(2400nA/bit).

Details of this can be found in CapSense design guide under CapSense Architecture in PSoC 4 S-Series, PSoC 4100S Plus, PSoC 4100PS, and PSoC 6 MCU (pg 36).

DISCLAIMER: Do not use the expression view for other purposes/change any other parameters, as it may affect the CapSense performance.

Thanks and regards

Hello Hari-san,

Thank you for your answer.

I can find out Csd0IdacGainV2.

How about the 2X mode (Low(75 nA/bit), Medium(600 nA/bit), and High(4800nA/bit)) ?
