Is there an App Note somewhere that show's a known good layout for a PSoC 4 chip in the 28-SSOP package? I'm looking to use CY8C4245PVI-482. I know some of the PSoC 5 chips require a very specific trace pattern or they won't work.

There is no specific land pattern requirement for 28-SSOP PSoC4 chip. Recommend to refer the package size of 28-SSOP PSoC4 chip in the datasheet.
Thanks,
Ryan

Note that P1.6 of PSoC4000 series is internal ARES pin. Make sure this pin won't be pulled down during reset and power cycles.
Thanks,
Ryan
